2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Muffler direction

I've got a project truck I cut the exhaust off from about 3 years ago. I got a new 4" silverline stainless system to install but can't figure what direction to face the muffler. I can't remember how the old exhaust was and the new silverline may be different anyway. The muffler has attached hangers but the other pipes seem like they could be arranged to work with the muffler facing either direction. Any help would be appreciated and if there is no right or wrong way what would be the best way?

Look inside the muffler. The opening of the baffles should point to the rear of the truck. The smooth side is to the front. Hope that makes sense.

There should be some arrow pointing the way it goes also the pipe might be biger on one end.

you should be able to read silverline from left to right. if i remember correctly, the longer end goes foreward.
