Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Mufflers

Has any one tried the new Aero Turbine mufflers. Do they actually perform better than straight pipe. www.aero-turbine.com

They sound pretty good, seem to take the edge off straight pipe and lower the exhaust tone. I hear them on 24valves and 3rd gens everyday at work.



I just cant seem to wrap my mind around how putting a plug in the exhaust can make it flow more.

I think they might work but its hard to throw two big ones down on something i have no idea about

Try Flowmaster. I have had great results on my gassers and have one on my CTD. They are considerably shorter and easy to install. Nice tone, I've been told it sounds like a big truck. Ordered mine from Jegs.com, delivered for $131. 98

I'm sure it doesn't flow like a straight pipe, but probably not far behind, but I like my gutted mufflers. They are almost as quiet as stock and improved the power and economy on both my trucks. The modification is free is you can do a little cutting and welding.

i paid like 100 buck for my magnaflow. still get a little drone but nothing like strait pipe dumping infront of the tire, huh zach. the only time i hear an areo turbine muffy was on a 6. 0 ford so it sounded like, well you know. i dont here my rig from the outside but maybe 5 times a year but it does put a smile on my face.

Oh it aint that bad :-laf I think I'm gonna redo it in 5" soon.



But if I had to have a muffler it would be a Magnaflow, they sound gooooood.

that should be fun. on the phone climbing hills i had to back out just to hear. if i get into one of rips systems and you want the magnaflow let me know. itll cost ya a beer though
