Removing Dents

Buying a used lift

Yes, for me the stainless ist way to expensive for what you get for.
Cost more then double the price of the steel pan.
For that much money i want an 1A Finish and with 1A Material choosen to build it.
Thats how we are over here.

Thanks for the information on the stainless. Looks to be best to just go with another Cummins pan.

And new bolts.

I know what Ozy means and that might be in Europe, but regarding stainless auto parts, especially exhaust systems, there are 2 or choices. 400 series stainless, which are the cheaper SS exhaust systems, and 300 series (usually meaning 304) SS systems, these are the $5-600 systems, most hardware and that Sno Depot oil pan. 316 stainless, what Ozy insists on, is considered food grade SS, and is not usually found in mechanical parts. I’m sure a 5” single exhaust in 316 would be $1000.
I have the MBRP exhaust system in 400 SS, and while it’s discoloring, as it’s supposed to, it’s holding up well.

Your's is not too bad, I've looked up some that were a lot more money...

My project today, took the old “Snow Boss” down to the new place for snow clean up. New Honda has taken over those duties at the old place..

Cleaning up last weekend and started to get a dribble of snow instead of the customary plume....Uh Oh...

Dragged it inside and the drive pulley on the engine had split in half....looked up the part numbers and ordered on Amazon...

Sitting here warming my feet in front of the salamander..still cold in here...

Old pulley. Brought pullers and other tools of destruction as this machine was new in 2002 and I have never touched that pulley. Took the bolt out and it slid right off!! Could not believe it...

Machine has always been stored in a heated garage, never rusted on apparently!!

Will join it back together as soon as I get warmed up. Another storm startin in a couple of hours so need it back on the ready line!!!
