My mom has cancer.

She got comfirmation today that she has Ovarian cancer. She will be going to Chicago to talk to the surgeon on Thurday.



Not sure how bad it is yet. Can't recall what is for/called, but one of the numbers they look at on a blood test, was through the roof. Up to 40 I guess, is OK. Over that, they get worried. Her number was 907. :--)



Was hoping some of you would say a prayer for her. It would be appriciated.

My grandma had surgery for colon cancer today. She came out alright. I guess it will be a long process.

My Mom went through colon cancer 5 years ago and has been cancer free ever since. Lots of prayers and a reason to live gave her hope.

Your Mom is in my Prayers also. Good luck. My Mom beat lung cancer in her 70's. Many cancers can be cured nowdays, it just depends on how soon they are caught.

Thank you all very much. Mom is in good spirits. She met with the surgeon today, and it sounds like he is very optimistic. He said that he usually has patients that are in far worse shape.



Surgery will be this coming Monday or Thursday.



Erik, I dress like Uncle Jesse on the Dukes of Hazard, too. Bibs and all.
