The recall wasn’t about a 6 foot spec callout in toe....That's what that drag link recall was about.

When the sleeve strips out...The recall wasn’t about a 6 foot spec callout in toe....
And 6’ has something to do with that? At what point does 6 feet even possible in a toe measurement? When the sleeve strips out...
It's one of those TDR off tangent jokes. It started with my leaky shock, which may or may not be connected to my unusual tire wear, which prompted a discussion about the ideal toe spec, which prompted a question of 1/64" making a difference, which prompted my "half a thou' " wise crack, which prompted the 6' social distancing comment. Whew! Welcome to the patented TDR walk around the barnAnd 6’ has something to do with that? At what point does 6 feet even possible in a toe measurement?
Why are we even splitting this hair?
Yes, the link was recalled. I heave zero recollection of anything within this recall says anything regarding a 6’ toe spec. Do you?
I have to admit, I missed that one. LOL![]()
I have thought about lowering the ride ride height of DW Buick Rainier with rear air. There is no need for it to have it's a$$ sticking in the air.
TFucili thanks for the tip on moving the sensor, have a buddy who been to dealer several times they said that's normal, weren't interested at all same thing you had.
No idea if it's the correct way, but until Ram offers a solution I'm going with it. It's a shame that the dealers either don't understand it, or just don't give a hoot.TFucili thanks for the tip on moving the sensor, have a buddy who been to dealer several times they said that's normal, weren't interested at all same thing you had.
I’m sure it was the proper fix. A threaded rod.....is threaded for a reason. That reason is adjustment. No idea if it's the correct way, but until Ram offers a solution I'm going with it. It's a shame that the dealers either don't understand it, or just don't give a hoot.
