And 6’ has something to do with that? At what point does 6 feet even possible in a toe measurement?

Why are we even splitting this hair?

Yes, the link was recalled. I heave zero recollection of anything within this recall says anything regarding a 6’ toe spec. Do you?
It's one of those TDR off tangent jokes. It started with my leaky shock, which may or may not be connected to my unusual tire wear, which prompted a discussion about the ideal toe spec, which prompted a question of 1/64" making a difference, which prompted my "half a thou' " wise crack, which prompted the 6' social distancing comment. Whew! Welcome to the patented TDR walk around the barn:D

I took a chance today at trying to level my saggy(left to right)rear air ride suspension, since two dealers have had zero interest in addressing it. Loosened the two mounting bolts on the bracket for the left height sensor, and there was a fair bit of slack available, so I rotated it in the downward direction, and the truck soon responded. It appears to be within about 1/4" sitting in my garage. I will travel to the scale pad where I measured before, so I can judge how close it is. I don't know if this approach is advisable, but it didn't throw any codes while idling in the garage.

I have thought about lowering the ride ride height of DW Buick Rainier with rear air. There is no need for it to have it's a$$ sticking in the air.

TFucili thanks for the tip on moving the sensor, have a buddy who been to dealer several times they said that's normal, weren't interested at all same thing you had.

It’s a big issue with modern techs... no code, no problem. They aren’t trained on how to actually diagnose an issue, only change the parts the truck tells them to change.

We run into the issue on our helicopters too. Sure they can change the part like a champion, but what happens when that doesn’t fix it....

No idea if it's the correct way, but until Ram offers a solution I'm going with it. It's a shame that the dealers either don't understand it, or just don't give a hoot.

I’m sure it was the proper fix. A threaded rod.....is threaded for a reason. That reason is adjustment.
