Good jeez that's a good snow fall!! I know this is very off topic but my backs against the wall an I just need me some closure for a good nights sleep ...So I was kinda rushing this KDP kit seeing how I was using my buddy's shop at a late hour... But my only concern or real conscious kicker is the plastic Sleeve that comes with the crank seal. I instal crank seal into timing case then installed case... Now the plastic was putruding out towards radiator so I thought I might have to push this plastic piece back into seal/timing case with the balancer. I did so... Now that I am hearing different approaches to the job I'm seeing this probably wasn't the right thing to do. Tightened everything up truck drives fine an runs normal. My question is with pushing that plastic sleeve back into the timing cover with harmonic balancer will this cause any engine damage or will it just cause a leak an will I just have to replace the seal an be sure of taking that plastic sleeve out of the new seal

The sleeve is to be pulled out upon installation of the cover, may want to pull that apart and do it over !! Back to 1st gen where this belongs, sorry for the derail snowbound.

This was a couple hours ago. They are saying it'll snow till tomorrow morning.
It's real windy, tough to say how much it really is.

Yep, that's the scene here! NYC put a travel ban that will be lifted early Sunday morn. Being essential service, I wound up going home last night and driving a coworker home. I gotta say, the BFG AT KO's I put on this summer paid off yesterday! Also I inherited a '80's craftsman "gray" series 26" snow blower. I put some effort into fixing it, and that worked pretty good too!

I'm happy to report that we didn't even get a flurry, just kinda' cold.

Heading out on the lake pretty quick to plow out a small skating rink. Son in law bringing his ice auger and portable ice shack shortly.

Really happy that I don't have to move snow all day. Did that last Sunday.

We chipped in on one of these for his Christmas present.....

When it was all said and done, we had on the button 24". Took me the better part of the day yesterday to get out trucks out to the main road using our loader and the quad where it wouldn't high center. The plow truck was useless. We let it get too far ahead of us.

No snow here either in IL, in fact I can see the grass and it is kind of green.

Next weekend it is to be in the high 30's to mid 40's. So this is going your way and it will really make a mess out there in the mid week.

No, there's still a bunch of people there.
Holiday city Berkeley, nj (Toms River area)
Only a few of the roads were touched. The ones that were were only single lanes.
