Guys talk to me about replacement steering wheel covers. After 11 years my wheel is reeeeeaaaaallllllyyyyy starting to show some wear and I would like to cover it.

It doesnt matter to me if it is a sew up or a slip on, just looking for something that will look good and hold up to freezing winters and hot hot summers we have here in Mich.

Thanks in advance,

J-

I have had this slip on and it has held up well.

I've had a Harley-Davidson slip on, just like SierraRam's above. It lasted almost 8 years! Just bought a new one, cost was around $30, I think.

My son had the same thing, only it said Dodge on it. You can pick them up at most Auto Accessary stores, or an H-D dealer if that's what you want.

The ones I have had feel almost like leather, I do like that.

I don't like the slip ons, too big. Pep Boy's here has a real leather cover that you basically have to sew on for $18.

I had a slip on, but it accumulated dirt and looked like hell after a couple years. I put a wheelskin from Genos on and it looks great. I can post a picture tomorrow if you'd like.

The one I'm talking about is very much like the WheelSkin, just about a 1/3 the price. Check it out.

I've used countless wheel skins to fix the chronic late '90s dodge steering wheel dissapearance..... Sometimes, they need some wrapping to help repair damaged parts, but once the skins are on, I don't know of any that have come off..... And many people come back wanting another one for their new truck. I use them too, and they've held up very well for me. I'll have to check out the one's at PepBoys... . How thick are they? Do they feel like real leather?

It feels like leather but holds up much better, I personally like the thicker wheel. I put a Wheelskin on my wifes 05 Bee, it has held up very well.

It is leather. Looks like, feels like, I haven't licked one so I can't tell you how they taste, and smells like real leather. Very similar to WheelSkin.
