My friend has a 2004.5 3500 4x4 6-speed 3.73 gears Borla flow through exhaust, AFE air cleaner, Edge products Tuner. Pulls Double with Fifth Wheel RV and tow behind trailer for 4 wheelers and sometimes the Jeep instead. It is time for a Clutch and he is wanting one that has more holding power than stock but with the stock type manners and does not chatter/jerk when releasing like some stiff stout clutches do.
He has noticed the stock clutch would not hold on a hill while the Edge is in Level 2 and he has to baby it...Level 3 is out of the question. I remember someone mentioning years back that when you go back with a better clutch you also have to change out the hydraulic slave cylinder.
Need some feedback from user's of these suggested clutches too!
Also would need someone that is specializing in this field of work near the San Antonio Texas area that will do great work and service. Could drive to another close by town if it is necessary and worth the great customer service.
Thanks, RB
