Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Need help identifying this ..

It is a round "fuel pressure regulator" sized cylinder on the rear side of the pump. Ok, I found it. Is it the fuel shutoff silenoid? Can I loosen it to get the vaccum line out? I don't want to get any air in the system or mess anything up. Someone had this thing off at some point and tightened it back down with the vaccum line underneath it!!! My cruise don't work and this line goes to my cruise control motor.

Yes to both. Deal with the solenoid gently to get the line out without bending the linkage. Alternatively, you could cut the vacuum line, reroute the two pieces, & reconnect using a coupler.

Thanks Bill, Jim pulled it off for me, cut the hose and connected it for me and now my cruise works!! Thanks TDR!!
