Matt, thanks for all of the additonal info.

While I also like the performance of the Hella FF series, I really prefer the classic look, durability and 23 year warranty of the 6" KC Daylighters in polished stainless. That IS remarkable, though, that a pair of 55w Hellas outperform 130w KC's.
Size DOES matter. :-laf

I DO like these 8" Cibie BiOscar dual beam with the H4 bulb. There are some excellent H4 bulbs out there now, the Phillips xtreme vision being one of them, that would really make these lights SHINE !!! They are likely better lights then the Warn dual beams, though the Warns ARE free-form tech, but at the time, I did not know of them, so for now I'll make do with the Warns in the KC housing!!

The KC's are 6" with the optics in the glass where the Hella's are 8" with the optics in the reflector so not a fair comparison but a good point that wattage isn't everything.

A great lamp I am sure but doesn't provide much for low beam supplement being a fog/driving beam. Have you seen these? Stainless housing, FF technology and might be impressive with an uprated H4 bulb to supplement both the oem high and low beams.

Here is a pic. A lot of hard work, but I think it paid off!

I think I'm leaning toward some PIAA fog lights. They are ready to go and less than 200 bills. I also like the metals grids that protect the lens. Now the decision is which version? There are 540 and 520 series. . possibly 510's. Geez.

Suggestions?

P. S. Yes, I know there was a leak under my truck. Didn't get the plug tight enough when I checked for fluid. I was afraid of stripping it.

HaHa... :p... so sorry

Your bumper looks great. . certainly seems worth the effort.

Personally, I like the added versatility of the 525 low beam/driving beam H4 dual beam patterns for one pair of lights--

PIAA

As well as their newer 510 ATP (all terrain pattern) for the second pair.

PIAA

That combination would giveyou s GREAT choice of low beam supplement, driving light (high beam) as well as a nice off road spread.

BUT if you do want or need a fog, then maybe the 510 SMR in a fog pattern instead of the 510 ATP.

PIAA

PIAA

But there sure is ALOT to choose from!!!

Makes a big difference with a pic to see, pretty clean looking set up so I don't think I would put anything on top even though light output would be better, it would ruin the looks. The size of those holes looks like you are limited to a 4" light and since I am partial to clear lenses, by that I mean free form technology with the optics in the reflector then I would go for the 510 SMR's a pair of driving and a pair of the fogs.
