Bill,Send a PM to Joe Donnelly.
Yes.You thinking about a new truck???
At this time a new 14 or 15 for me will not have the factory hitch preps at all. I will install a B&W GNRK 1314 gooseneck hitch for $439 and then go with the Companion RVK 3500 $879. I will have 20K towing and 5K pin ratings.
The GNRK 1314 is only 58lbs and looks easy to install. Think that is what Joe Donnely went with.
At this time that seems like the best way to go.
Yo Chris,John, looks like you should run home and do the deal. Lots of them up this way.
sag2 and Joe,
Thank you for the links to the VIN decode. That'll be very helpful when I'm looking through a list of VIN's.
Chris,
For the foreseeable future we'll be sticking with a bumper-pull travel trailer, so no bed hitch prep is needed.
Thanks!
John L.
Chris,John, keep your MaxBrake! They may be worth more than retail in a bidding war.
