New Original Factory Tach found!!!!

I figured you would all appreciate this. I found a new factory tach kit part#82400711 for my 1993 from a Dodge dealership! I got lucky! I know how rare these things are. Can't wait to get it.

I'd hold off on the enthusiasm until you have it in your hands. The part numbers are good, so depending how good your dealer is, they might show it, but later find out they're no longer available.

I am in Philadelphia this week and I decided to call the local dealer in town. I gave him the part number and he said he didn't have it, BUT it appeared that one dealer in Ohio had it in stock. He gave me the number so I called. I gave him the number and he put me on hold to check to see if he had it. He got back on the phone with the Tach in hand. Gave him my credit card numbers and BAM! - The tach is on its way. I've been wanting a stock tach for a while, I'm glad I was able to get a new one.

I've been looking for a factory tach kit also. Just had my dealer (Southern States Chrysler/Dodge) in Raleigh look it up and he found none anywhere in the US! You musta got the very last one!

Way to go! I picked one up a few months ago from one of the northwest members, was new still in the box. Thought it might be the last one but you got lucky.



I have not put it on yet as the tach output from the PCM was not working. I picked up a new PCM and will put it on hoping it will fix the tach signal problem.
