Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) New pump installed at Ponci's Diesel.

I had the pleasure of watching a professional do a pump install yesterday. I replaced it myself once and decided that since I had to drive up to Fortuna to pick the new one up, I'd have Brad install it. I spent 6 hours when I did it. Brad started at 8 and we were out test driving at 10. Would have been done sooner if he didn't have to answer my endless stream of questions. It was a great experience having work done at a family run business. Got to meet his "grumpy" dad and his really nice mom. Played fetch with the dogs for a while to give Brad a break from my questions. I highly recommend their shop to anyone needing work done. The motel rates are low and there is a really good restaurant right across the street. Thanks again to Brad and the Ponci family for great work and a pleasant experience.

Not quite. I am trying to get it to idle a bit better. It has always run rough at idle when it was hot outside and the engine is warmed up. That long drive up hwy 101 sure shows you how your turbo is working.

Do the repair from the top or from the bottom????????? Got one I'm thinking about putin in but from the top, short arms, from the ground cn't see and short arms. Guess I'll forget it.
