Competition Tire size and drivetrain questions related to pulling

Competition What's the hp capability of a 12V?

How about changing the name on the truck to "Big Bad Cummins"? Or atleast change the weight cover on front & replace it with a big "Cummins Powered" logo. The truck is Sweet though.

Scott,

Good luck with it. That is one of the top trucks in the land and should put on a great show of MIDWEST power for all the west coast dyno champs to see!!

Whens the ugly bumper and lift kit going on?

Oh yeah, who are you exporting from the midwest to drive? :-laf

Ugly bumpers on order :-laf NOT !!!!!

I was going to ask you to fly out and drive it for me but folks I talked to out that way didn't recomend it, said I would be better off doing it myself they did say you might be able to handle to a street truck though :-laf

Your right I wouldnt know what to do with all of that power! :-laf

On a serious note, this is kind of a milestone for the Westies.

Not only was this is a good business decision for Watson, but Scott wont have any trouble gaining some good sponsorship out west with this caliber of truck.

And of course, "if you build it they will come":

Once this mod truck hits the pulls out west it will draw some other people with money to burn and hopefully the west will see more mod trucks in the near future.

All in all there will be a new a definition for horsepower on the west coast and the california pullin circuit (and diesel world!). .

I predict another cover of Diesel Power.

I am looking forward to showing the West Coast fans what these diesels are capable of, and I feel this is yet another step that we can take in promoting the great sport of diesel sled pulling. Bridging the gap between East and West spreading the diesel sled pulling infection across this great nation :-laf

I am open to any guidance, suggestions, or tips that you may have.

Regards,

BBD

Building the bridge out of midwest trucks the whole way across the country, is going to keep Watsons busy for a while. :-laf

I'm afraid it will discourage some of the guys that were sure their street trucks had a 1000 HP. There is going to be some jaw dropping!!

Just do whatever Chris tells you, and you will be fine. he is one of the best Mod drivers I have seen, always had a feel for the track, and what the truck was doing.

You should try to lease his little brother to read the track for you, he aced it most of the time.

That's *****in' Scott. Congrats. I'm glad to see that you didn't just walk away. Really makes me wish I was still around to see it in person. Now if we can just get some sled pulls here in AZ (in the 'winter' of course). There is tons of money to burn here, just not in my pocket.

Do you have any idea if you will be at Tulare in March? I'm going to try and be there and this would give me just enough to tell the wife I GOTTA GO!!!!

Sounds like all is well, take care Scott.

Spunky

P. S. Better have Massetti install some 5-point harness in the sled!!! :D

Right on Scott! I look forward to seeing the beast! I'll be at Tulare and Vegas, we'll meet up at one of them. Oo.

Only downer, how am I going to pull with you now? Your killing me!!! :-laf

Cost is about what my house appraises for! It's sad sometimes when I think of the amount of money I have spent on mine over the last 5 years in parts and how I could do it so much cheaper now based on my current combo.

I figure it would take care of half of my loan payoff.
