So it would be better just to go thru Costco first ? How much better was the Costco price over your own negotiating ?

Well the Costco price was invoice price which is just about where I was when I called them. If I had it to do over again, I would probably call Costco first and get their pricing. I'd compare that to Edmunds, Kelly BB and Consumer Reports to see the difference. Then I'd call around and ask who can beat it. In my case, I went to my local dealer and gave them first right of refusal to beat my best price (which they did).
