I just went out to my truck, started right up, fuel pressure 15-16 psi. Idle for about 1 min then psi slowly dropped down to zero. We had sub-zero temps last night & this morning. Had same problem last year when temp went below zero. I've had the truck for 14 yrs & never had any issues previous to last year. Airdog fuel system has been in it for about 10 years & I put Stanadyne performance conditioner in the fuel on a regular basis. i'm figuring that the fuel has gelled. Any ideas on why this would b happening now as opposed to previous years & what's the best way to thaw fuel system & prevent this from occurring again?

I had the same issue about 5 weeks ago here in Laramie WY Temp was - 38F and thought I had enough Power Service fuel conditioner in it, but obviously did not!!! After setting it sit in the sun at +2 to +8 F most pf the day , the same thing happened again, started and had fuel pressure, then pressure went down to 0 psi and engine finally started to quit so I shut it down. Had to pull it into the warm shop and let it sit over night and changed the filters. Fuel was gelled in the filters and in the tank!! After talking with the fuel distributors, Only one of our distributors is getting Blended 50:50 form the refiners, the rest are getting #2 with additive and this is where I was getting my fuel before this happened, I have gone to the stations getting fuel from the refinery that is blended. You can find this out , but you have to ask a lot of people a lot of questions. I am now using blended with Power Service as per instructions on bottle. No more problems so far!!
