2012 Ram 3500 transfer case

Decreasing fuel mileage

2014 3500 DRW 95000 mi stock
Started truck yesterday and was limited to 9-10 mph with no throttle response. Shut down and restarted, ran all day w/ no problems.
This am same symptoms except got 28 mph on first start.
No codes, lights, engine is smooth, exhaust brake works fine. DEF tank is full.
Anyone got experience with this?
Dealer said they couldn’t do anything but throw parts at it w/ no code
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
 
Stupid question new fuel filter? Don't know where your at but fuel gelling? The shut down and restart (rebooting ecm) wondering if that is an issue? Did you shut downaand restart on the 28mph run? That's a typical dealer response. Wait for some other posters.
 
Fuel filter at 50% life.
Pulled over for the restart.

Pulled over for the restart. Completely shutting key off and out of ignition. Then start w/ no problems.
 
How are batteries? Grounds have become a big issue on these trucks. I realize it's newer but I wouldn't overlook them.
2years old but I’ll clean them. Gonna disconnect the batteries anyway for some trouble shooting.
Did notice the EGR cycles every 5 sec when cold. Not sure if that’s normal operation????

Be sure to use Dielectric grease, after all grounds are bare metal connections which also means rust connections. The dielectric will allow the connection and also preserve the metal.
