Where can I get Texaco MTX 1874 or GM#12345349 for reasonable?
I'm happy with the performance of the OEM stuff, but may have a leak and am going to change it in conjuction with clutch replacement this weekend.
Only 78k on the ticker.
BTW I mistakenly ran 80-90 gear oil in a F-150 transmission (mazda built 5-speed) for years before I saw in the service manual that it was supposed to have ATF in it. Changed it. No difference. Great transmission until 330,000 miles when I sold it.
