Thank you, Ozy. I'll have another look, then order the kit with the hope it is still available.
What was the part number(s) for the kit?
I apologize for sticking my nose into this conversation, but isn't this kit just about the same thing as the BD Low Fuel Pressure Indicator Kit? I know BD's kit requires the addition of the LED light but it provides the same information.
Mine came yesterday; I have the GDP MK-2 + BLK APPS Mount on my 5.9L which replaced the banjo bolt with an adapter to MJIC, coupled to a 90° FJIC to 3/8 PushLoc. I'm going to need a 12mm banjo to PushLoc adapter like the Parker 34982-12-6. GDP sells them. Should have it in a week or so. I'll post before and after photos if I remember.I wonder if this kit can be used with the Glacier Diesel Big Line Fuel Filter Kit for the 6.7L Cummins. I have installed the Big Line Kit on my truck and this required a new 3/8" ID fuel hose with fittings into the pump. It does not look like it will work to me but I could be wrong.
You should be able to solder it on and test it, and if it does not work, find a different solution. Since there is no added resistance to the WIF sensor, I would expect it to work just fine. As the Russians say: trust, but verify.I would be careful doing that. What if the resistance is different and that's why the plugs are different.
I ordered the kit (...64AA) from my local dealer, received it today, and it looks exactly like the photos found herein. This was their source: Vintage Parts, Inc., 120 Corporate Dr, Beaver Dam, WI, 53916-9923, 877-846-8243. From their web site: "Vintage Parts is the global partner of choice for obtaining Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) obsolete and slow-moving service parts. Our international locations and relationships with over 80 OEMs allow us to provide a high quality solution to extending the life of hard to find service parts." Obviously not a Dodge/Ram facility as I had earlier and mistakenly posted.
