I know Cummins has come out with something new to replace this. Chrysler also had a TSB a few years back to relocate it, is this the same kit? I get tired of all that nasty oil on the bottom of my 24v. Thanx in advance.

I relocated mine to a trash can

I extended the hose straight down and turned it out near the gear box. It fixed two things It stopped oil and sludge getting into my radiator, and it stopped the oil leak out of my vacuum pump. I'm guessing that it reduced crank case pressure to stop the oil leak. At over 70lbs of boost and 600hp I'm sure there's alot of blowby . I do get a whiff of blow by some times. You would be surprised how clean it stays under the engine. In essence trash the bottle and turn it into a roaddraft tube,if you're old enough you'll know what that is. Merv

The kit is different than relocation... Tried looking for the link to no avail but I'm sure someone will post it... The kit cost quite a few $$ but will eliminate the drip altogether ( it recycles oil back into system)

I opted for the hose... a couple bucks at the store for a barb fitting... heck it may have been 40 cents. I had some extra heaterhose laying around. You only need 3 feet maybe, I just ball parked it. In winter there's a neato steam trail coming out of it at idle, i always get asked what it is. My answers very, but normally I say it's my trucks way of giving something back to mother earth.

LOL - I like that one. :D :-laf

I have the same setup, and I like the vapor look too. :D

Most drag strips won't allow you on the track unless you have a drip bottle. Mine is on the back side of the drivers side wheel well behind the bumper. I used a barbed fitting and extended hose to go in bottle. Unclamp bottle and clean it out once in a while. :D
