I’m just going to leave this right here

Seriously, we’re a maintenance minded and passionate bunch. I guess that we do this at all is fine. Its just that I’m a stickler for a book procedure, if I know about it.
Aren’t you concerned with warpage?I drop the pan every oil change, just to be safe.

Do you wipe off all the drips and wipe the pan out?
But, do you drain it hot or cold first? LOLI drop the pan every oil change, just to be safe.
Whilst torching.....through the wheel well.......or do you remove the intake?Engine piled with dry ice, but I torch the oil filter before dropping the pan.

I like your " Fire 'N Ice" approach. But do you let it drain o'renight? Or for a fortnight?
Working in a fleet shop and on my personal vehicles I like to drain it warm, not HOT - but sometimes we have to do them ASAP and hot oil drains faster, but 200+ deg oil is no fun. Makes it drain quick though - seems thinner than water at that point. We are using 10w30 @ 75,000 intervals now(DD15 approved to at least 80,000) UOA done at every oil change.
Are you guys an OTR operation?
Which 10w30?
Who’s oil lab?
Detroit's take - "Change the engine oil only when the engine oil temperature is approximately 60°C (140°F) or higher. Changing cold engine oil will result in extended drain times."
