I have an oil leak that I have taken to the dealer 2 times to get fixed and it is still leaking. I crawled under the truck to see where it was leaking from, it looks like it is leaking from the plug that is ni the end of the yoke on the transfer case tailshaft. Can this be repaired or do I need to buy a new yoke?

I just fixed the same problem on my 01. Pull the driveline out, and clean out the inside of the yoke really well. Glob some silicone down in the bottom of the yoke on the inside and use a long dowel or screwdriver to spread it out so you have a nice bead around where the splines and end cap meet. I used some of the ultra copper stuff and it worked great.

Are you sure it is not the rubber plug on the top of the tailshaft housing? This is a common leak point. Fix it by removing the plug, completely cleaning all oil & crud from the plug and opening and then silicone it back in place. Mine leaked for years until I finally decided to clean it really good and silicone it in. Leak gone.
