I have been leaking oil for a while now and it is on the drivers side. I have washed and looked for the leak several times with no success. When I put the Cummins in my Suburban all of the gaskets were replaced. I was talking to someone else about it but he didn't know the details. He said some of the 12 valves lost oil through the blow-by tube. He said it could be fixed using parts off a 24 valve truck. Does anyone know about this? Should it be a sticky.

If it's coming from the vent tube one fix is to put a catch can at the end of the tube. This is a common fix on motorhomes. Alos check your dipstick for proper calibration. Drain, fill with the correct amount of oil and look to see if the fill mark is correct. Overfill will cause constant oil loss through the vent tube.
