Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) oil leaks around the oil fill tube

is there a seal or o-ring that seals around the fill tube on the front cover? my son and I are getting the parts to do the kdp on his 96, but the tab kit didn't look like it had a seal for this spot. i hate to buy a gasket kit if i donj't need all of the pieces, so what's the best fix?

There is something possibly an oring but i dont remember. You will not damage it when you remove it however so if it is godd now don't worry about it.

I think it's a flat rubbery gasket. Like a square cut o-ring. I've had mine off a few times, no problems reusing it.

Ditto. Fat square cut o-ring. Re use it.
