I just cannot believe this:



I haven't been driving much lately since fuel prices are so high,I got 13000 miles on my truck and have had it a year last May,well today I went to get some groceries up to the local Krogers,well I was putting my groceries in my truck,I had the tailgate down,and the door to my topper open,well this old women came running up to me and started swearing at me and swinging her purse trying to smash me with it,she kept ranting that I am to blame for the high fuel prices because I have a big truck,I could not believe this,she kept yelling at me telling me her daughter was in Iraq fighting for OIL for our country :--) because I was using it all up,all the people standing around us started to give ME dirty looks like I actually did something wrong,I thought I had to be dreaming all this but I wasn't.

I tryed to get in my truck and get out of there,but there was no way unless I pushed her out of my face,so I asked a lady that was standing there with a cell phone to please call the police,she just looked at me,finally a cop drove by and saw all this and she is still screaming and crying,the cop told her to calm down and tell him what is wrong,well she did and the cop told me to get in my truck and go so I went,I don't know what happened to her.



I am still wondering what the heck happened... ... .....

Now Im not one for just letting swing... but if somebody comes flying up to me ranting and raving and starts swinging objects at me... . well then its self-defense mode for a good reason as stated below.



I do have 3k worth of medical equipment on my head (hearing aids --damn things ) and I've also been diagnosed with hydrocephalus which means I have to watch for impacts to the head. Both of these were the result of being 8 weeks preemie. :--) soooo I really didnt have a choice in the matter as for living with it. :-laf And people blame me for being high-strung in a tense situation like that. Sorry, but the days of insurance willfully covering hearing aids are over and I always end up paying out of pocket for full bill.

Yes I did have some restraint,but I haven't been myself lately,going through a separation with my wife so my head is filled with more than I can handle,so I have been in a daze lately

I just smiled and shrugged it off as she got in to her tahoe. moron. if she only knew i get the same mileage towing a trailer as she does in that pos

I would of grabbed her by the back of the neck, dragger to the cad and shower the overhead computer. Mine usually reads in the low to mid 20's, because it is 25% high.



You should be glad she didn't torch your truck!!! In some places, yuppies are doing that.

If I find one trint to burn mine, I'll run over and get in, grab and load the shoot him/here in self defense. !!

DG, you're truck isn't even that big. It's not like it's a lifted up long bed dually. That's an average size truck. I guess all trucks are the same to her. I bet it gets better MPG than her V8 Cadillac.

You should have filed assault charges, or whatever else is available in your locality to fit the situation. I think the cop should have at least put some pressure on the individual, because you can't just do something stupid like that without repurcussions, IMO. I probably have the wrong attitude but if someone were to pull that with me, I'd have managed to find a way to make life less pleasant for them, at least temporarily. If people are smart enough to just shut up and let others live their lives, I'll leave them alone. If not, they deserve to be messed with back.


Laying down a nice soot cloud on the way out would have been fitting as well.

Unfortunately many people subscribe to the philosophy that "whereas facts take time to look up, opinions take only seconds to dream up". It's easier to target someone with a large vehicle and assume it gets 10mpg than take the time to research what fuel economy actually is on various makes/models.

I suspect that a reply such as "my truck does not run on gas; it's a diesel" would shut up most people like that. They probably have no clue that gas and diesel both come from the same crude oil.
