Mark have you ever put a minder in that little filter(or is it a mock up one), I'm curious if it ever pulls it down. I talked to AFE about mine and they told me to put it in the very end if I wanted to run one so I did, it doesn't ever move, said down by the neck would give false readings!



Bet you have that fab stuff down to an art now!

the end of this filter is not har enough to mount it.



Besides, you have to have a little vacume for the propane

I'm going to try and keep from changing the head gasket again, the head wasn't bad but the manifold

Hay guys! Have all of you "O" ringed your heads? Have you had your exaust manifolds crack?



I have a 97 12 valve sitting in my trailer in the driveway that I need to put in something. I also have an extra P-pump sitting in the shop. All were free. Well I had to do some work on a friends dirt track car and he has a good friend that has a junk yard.



I still love my twins but may put them on the 12 vavle and go all out with this engine. I haven't decide what to put it in.

it's not the manifold. . it's the 100# of turbos



I didn't pull them, I just cut the manifold loose and pushed it over about 2", but laying on the motor to get to the back bolts pisses me off





Jon T, I just put a Stage 2 O-Ringed head on. No cracks yet!

It is amazing the things this engine can deal with. I just wish the headgasket was a little stronger.

The twin turbos on my new 12V just axed the input shaft.



an HY30-9 and an HT3B-26 is a wicked fast combination



It was s 13" FE(w?) SBC with a sprung hub.



the new dual disc and 1 3/8" input shaft was already coming

I was talking to Cmonroe before he sold the truck and he claimed with the turbo combination it would make 6 psi boost in neutral just from reving the engine. Sorry to hear about the input shaft, those turbo's are one stout combination.

hum... . mine made 18 in neutral, makes 12-14 now that the little turbo is working less, never tried it till I read that post!
