Auto Zone refused to replace bad Optima red top that I had purchased from them. (battery 24 months old)
Optima customer service called the store and asked them to replace it. They still refused.
Optima is replacing the battery.
Auto Zone had replaced the battery once before and said they went from the date of the original purchase instead of the date of mfg. or replacement. Optima warranties the battery for 36 months full replacement from date of purchase and or replacement. You may have to return Optima batteries to the dealer where purchased for warranties. Advanced is an Optima dealer & wouldn't help me because battery was not purchased from them.
If you are traveling and need Optima's warranty hope you can find a store where you bought the battery and have the receipt in case they don't have you in their data base.
