Nice! I see a field beside the road, hook that sucker up to about a 24' tool bar and give it a good test. Maybe I will get to see it pull the sled this summer, I follow United Pullers and Live-A-Little circuit's in the Rocky Mountain States.

We have a trailer water pump that has a 4 banger JD motor on it, I was told to watch out for the motor spitting out injectors. That thing will run pret near wide open for days at a time pumping water into the pastures. JD rules, its not like yours but they are good ones IMO

The plan is our first hook is Friday the 22nd of this month in Woodburn Oregon, and Saturday the 23rd in Roseburg Oregon.

Not even close, The original is a Bosch A pump. This one is a modified Bosch P-pump, custom cam, 13mm pistons. Original pump could do about 600cc fuel, this one will go to 1200cc This is the stock transmission

The stock trans was a 16 speed, Low gear being about 1.5mph at rated RPM. The new transmission is 3 speeds, Low gear being the same as the stock road gear, second being one tooth over road, 3rd being two teeth over road gear.. Launch rpm will be somewhere between 5500 and 6500RPM depending on track conditions. If you do a bit of math, the stock 16th gear was about 20mph at 2200rpm.. We will be turning at least twice that rpm at mid track.

The ones in the videos aren't at all "impressive", but they remind me of the fun part of my childhood spent standing on the driver side axle and holding onto the seat while my dad was baling hay!!

I'm not too familiar with later model JD diesel engines, but I didn't think it was an original pump. I didn't remember seeing Bosch P-pumps on them. You have built quite a tractor... lots of $$ and work. Good luck at the pulls!!
