01 cummins
I have noticed on my quad 4k that it was reading 42psi boost at idle. It ran great just stumbled a little bit and I was getting a check engine light with the p0237 low map sensor voltage code.
I went ahead and replaced map sensor with a genuine cummins one. And now it reads 0psi at all times and it acts as if the map sensor isn’t even plugged in with low power. I unplugged the quad and put it straight to the map sensor with the same results and same code. I’m getting 5v to the plug and I ohmed the ground and it checked good as well. Wasn’t sure what the signal wire should be, I was getting like 823.7mv. Not sure if that is correct or not. Pretty stumped on what to do now. Not sure if the ECM is fried, or it is possible that I got a bad map sensor??

Did you unplug the Quad COMPLETELY?

IE, every single sensor the Quad is involved with and run it back.

Quad failures are fairly common as they age.

Might be a little off but I have just gotten the same code. And through a CPS code. Well replaced the cps and truck tach isn’t working, alternator isn’t charging the battery and trans isn’t shifting right. Have went over all grounds and all is well. Anyone have any input I’ve been hearing people say something about the PCM.
