<font color=blue>Unscrew the back of the case, and you'll find "three" diffrent settings. It should be preset to the most aggressive fueling to begin with unless you specified differently when placing your order. Just move the jumper over one setting or two and you will "adjust" the fueling to come in at a "higher" boost level.

I'm not sure if you adjust the entire fuel curve or the delay on the EZ. I thought it was the delay to allow more boost to develop prior to the fueling being enhanced, aka decreasing smoke on the low end.

Kat, being detail oriented again, I found the jumper and 6 posts behind the front cover. In other words the cover without wires penetrating it. The one facing you. The jumper is on the right side pins if I remember correctly and moving it towards the left will decrease smoke on low end like you said #ad

how would you recommend setting it for a totally stock set-up?

Well it is designed to take the place of a VA so straight out of the box should work fine, your auto transmission "should" be able to hold with just the EZ. I honestly can't say for sure exactly how well it works on a "stock" truck. I already have a "Hot" PowerEdge on my truck and a shiftkit in the transmission before i added the EZ. Hopefully someone will answer with a completely stock setup that has added it. The different settings I believe are more for smoke control with the use of "bigger" injectors.

I would put it in just as it comes out of the box (most aggressive setting = roughly 66hp) and go from there. Stock setup you shouldn't smoke any at all really. I would recommend some gauges at some point tho, granted they may not be needed yet, they are nice to have that way you KNOW if something is not working right. Ecspecially if you tow alot.

Although I have a regular PE installed along with the EZ I did some testing with it turned off today. I got absolutly no smoke with my PE turned off. I would have to say that on a stock truck the way the EZ comes out of the box would be fine. I would highly reccomend boost/egt gauges so you can keep an eye on the temp.

On a side note when I turned on the PE to level three, I got a nice puff of smoke on a WOT take off from a stop light. I have not had a chance to move the jumper to adjust the timing of the fueling, but after I do I will report back on smoke.
