on Monday April 7 around 7:45am saw a blue and silver quadcab at Dunkin Doughnuts in Exton. Had nice stacks and written in yellow on the back "i'd rather be cummin than strokin". Anybody from the group?

Hey MD, heard an amusing story about you :D

Goofball I went to high school with that lives on 322 east of honkey brook starts telling me a story about "some loud ass stacked dodge" that revs at his house (where is stacked gasser ford sits)

I knew right away who it was :D Kind of amusing :)

That would be me. :D A friend of mine that lives in honeybrook talked to your buddy and he said he wanted me to stop in some day. I haven't had a chance yet, but for now I have just been giving him a smoke show when I see him in the drive! I see a lot of stacked trucks running around that area.

haha :D I found a SWEET looking 2nd gen that sits at a house in Elverson last weekend, RC long bed silver with 6" turnout stacks, looked awesome!

Anyway, I wanna check your truck out one day too, looked sweet going down 23

silver quad cab

i spotted a nice silver quad cab on thursday May 8 around 5:45pm on Rt 322 near Downingtown school. Had nice stacks and sounded good!!! Anybody from the group? I passed it as i was going towards downingtown. I drive a black quad cab with a sweet tooth grille, straight piped.

L. J.

I saw you there!!!! That is a sweet looking grille! I actually had my mufflers in so I could hear the turbo for a change!

Kevin

Hey Kevin,

man it feels good to finally spot a cummins dodge and have it be somebody from the group!!! everytime i see a rig with stacks i instantly think TDR member. I know what ya mean about hearing the turbo!! My truck is straight piped and i have the silencer ring removed and i can still hear that baby singing whenever i mash the loud pedal!!!

Couple questions for you. Do you have any problems with cops or inspection with your stacks?? what size are they? Does anyone sell a kit to put them on? I have gone back and forth with wanting stacks and was just curious. I also wondered to if they can be used with a bedliner and a tarp. I have seen Oasis-3's set up with a tarp and thats ok. Any info will help. Sorry for the length.

L. J.

They don't seem to get hot enough to melt the bed cover. I have seen many trucks with stacks and a bed cover with out any problems. My stacks are oasis-3's setup. They are 5". I just took his parts list to a big rig parts supplier and ordered everything on the list. As far as pa inspection goes i am not sure because my truck is registered in deleware. Pa inspection requires the exhaust to exit behind the cab, the stacks are fine for this, but i believer i read somewhere that it cannot exit the truck between 3-10 feet off the ground. Most cops as well as inspection stations dont seem to know about this anyway. I have not had any trouble with the cops for the last year since i put on the stacks. They have been strait piped 95% of the time!:D I really love them! I just hated drilling that 5" hole in the bed!

PS: With out a muffler stacks are WAY louder than a strait piped stock exhaust. Both in the cab and outside the truck!!!!!!!
