Pirelli Norseman

Has anyone put the Pirelli Norsemen tires on their truck. I know Michelins are the preferred,but more then one tire shop has told me that Michelins are very overpriced. The Pirelli has a 60,000 mile warranty, E rating, and similar tread to the Michelin A/T.

A friend had Pirelli Scorpion tires on his truck (1500 Chevy) and he didn't get 25,000 good miles out of them.



I think Micheln makes an excellent tire. The cost more, yes, but they will last longer. At least that has been my experience. The reson tire shops don't want to push them is because they won't see you again for a while. I think their margins are close on all major mfg's tires so why would they want to sell you the one that will last the longest??? JMHO
