2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Power steering pump block bracket???

Mayday! I am putting the vac pump and PS pump back on the Cummins and I am having trouble with the L bracket. Can't quite recall how it goes to fit flush between pump and block. Maybe I am missing something, but looks like it should reach as is, and it doesn't mount flush. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

I had the same problem. My fix was to enlarge the holes slightly until the bracket was flush on both sides. As an FYI, posting your year model and other info will result in faster replies.
