David & Gary- Be happy replacing your stock lift pumps then. I was going through one every 6 months. I'd rather drive my truck, not plea with the dealer or cummins that it needs to be relaced. I'm not not by any stretch of the imagination " a cult-like hero worshiper" good lord Gary- you REALLY need to lighten up and get a hobby:p ;). . Nor am I suggesting in any way that the FASS or Preporator pumps will last forever. I carry a spare carter pump to get me home in the unlikely event I'll need it.

Bottom line is use what works best for you.

I've never seen a FASS or Preporator (or Air Dog) torn apart. What type of pumps are these things anyway? Rotary Gear... Sliding Vane... Centrifugal?

Ncostello.

They are a Rotary Gear

RE:preporator DYNO

WadePatton,

When are you going to install your fuel preporator:confused:

We all are waiting for your before and after dyno run result's:D

Like i said before. If you need help getting parts i will help you if not please feel fee to install it and dyno it like it was agreed on. Or pass the pump on to someone else who will do the install and the before and after dyno runs and use it:D :D

Remember you started this thread:D

I wounld like to see your result's in my life time:D

Thanks

David

he got what he wanted

Guys like wade f it up for honest guys... . charlie probly wont be so inclined to give up an air dog for testing and other companies probly wont either. Guys like wade imo are thieves. big mouth- big talk- no action!! he got one shipped to him and its probably been on for monthes. I will tell you I have had all of them the FASS, Preporator, and air dog. If you want something to replace the junk lift pump get one of these. Like I said in an old post. Guys will spend 400- 700 for an exaust system that does almost nothing but scoff at 500 -700 for one of these fuel systems.

RAndrae,

Why have you had all 3, which one did you prefer and why?

Thanks,

Doug

Hummm... Just did a search and it seems funny that Wade Patton and Preporator stopped posting on the same day. . 8/7/04. Something smells funny here... .

Well here it has been over a year and we are still waiting for the results on Wade Patton's FREE pump from Preporator. He flammed the FASS but has never posted the results of the Dyno on the Preporator.

Life Happens

Hey Murle, long time.

Member WadePatton certainly never intended for this to happen. I assure you and all other TDR folks that it will happen. Things simply didn't work out as planned. As anyone with much life experience knows, sometimes that happens.

There is no need to go into the details of the how's and why's of the situation. Just remember that Life Happens. and sometimes that changes the timing of everything.

For the record: I have pump. Pump never installed. Pump will be installed and pre/post changes will be documented and published--to you the TDR, in this thread, and to Charlie, almost exactly as planned. I also apologize for not making this happen as planned.

I am a biased tester, I want this to be great--but I won't fudge a thing. And I never "flammed" the other pump. I simply asked for 5. 9 horsepower gain numbers as claimed.

The next post you get from me on this thread WILL be the report. I will not respond to any flames, cussing, or *******.

I hope to have something for yall in the next 60 days. If I don't get that done, I'll send Charlie the money, apologize again, and run away with my tail tucked.

Summary: Life happens, I apologize, and it ain't done but it will be.

Good to see you back Wade!

Wade never went anywhere he's been staying at the Mid-Tenn Chapter Roundtable forum.

Another 60 days Wade??? I think you might as well send the unit back. I think DDP(FASS) was correct in not sending you a FREE sample to test. But of course you flamed him for not sending you a FREE unit. I think the FASS people were fairly smart business people for not sending you a pump to test at no cost.

And since you have stated that you are a "biased tester", I really don't think what you post about the pump can be trusted!! Just my opinion!

60 days are up... . Did you ever install it or did you send it back? Oh, wait, Charles doesnt own the company any more, ( from what I hear ) guess you get a free-bee. :D

Hey fellers,

Got married and trying to get brand new business off the ground. So I'm broke and hungry.

Pump in question is on the bench. The mustang dyno that I've always run on no longer wants smokeyass diesel trucks in the shop. Probably going to sell the 24v, thinking about putting the pump on the 12v.

And get this--OEM LP crapped out on me a few weeks ago. That was a stomach turning experience. Had to put a new LP on. YUCKO. I COULD have put the Prep pump on, but then I wouldn't have the real dyno numbers and such. And everybody knows the truck sounds different and feels different with a Prep installed--so that would be pointless...

Charlie sold out?
