Exhaust Mnaifolds

I see you guys are still waiting to see the results. I think the price on these pumps has doubled or trippled since the start of this thread. It is now about the same price to buy a new cam with a lift pump lobe and install a mechanical lift pump. More reliable and there are side benefits as well. Unlike the FASS and Preporator. I don't miss my FASS. Especially since it died at 20k or so.

Hey fellers,

Got married and trying to get brand new business off the ground. So I'm broke and hungry.

Pump in question is on the bench. The mustang dyno that I've always run on no longer wants smokeyass diesel trucks in the shop. Probably going to sell the 24v, thinking about putting the pump on the 12v.

And get this--OEM LP crapped out on me a few weeks ago. That was a stomach turning experience. Had to put a new LP on. YUCKO. I COULD have put the Prep pump on, but then I wouldn't have the real dyno numbers and such. And everybody knows the truck sounds different and feels different with a Prep installed--so that would be pointless...

Charlie sold out?

Excusses are like arm pits... . Everyone has 2 of them... Just as I thought all blow and no go. Wade you have been put on my MORON list.....

The ultimate excuse.

My lift pump went out, so I didn't install the freebie sitting on the bench but went out and replaced it with a pump that cost me money. HUH? And you are broke with this new business?

What a surprise!

You should have called it what it was. You wanted something for free and had no intention of doing the right thing by doing as you said. Yet another justifiable example of why vendors don't want to send units out for testing.

I hope you run your business better than you ran the decision to buy a pump when you had one that was free. Or did you sell it in order to get your business off the ground?

Someday, we'll all be laughing at the guys that paid so much for an *ELECTRICAL* FASS or Preporator when we're all running a RASP or DonM Cam/mech pump.

Maybe. :D

I really do hope that all the lift pump solutions hold up for all the various users. It would be a shame if even more money was thrown at a dead horse. It was a drawn out decision for me to go mechanical, but I think it was the right choice for me.

I know it's not for everyone.

If it were a simple install, it would have been done.

u should have called it what it was. You wanted something for free and had no intention of doing the right thing by doing as you said. You, my dear sir, have no idea what I intended. If, per chance, it was as you say it is; then maybe I would have put the unit to use or sold it. What makes you think that I requested a free product? I never did. I accepted what was offered. I never requested anything. Yes, and it does me so much good sitting on the bench. Yes, I just wanted a big fancy paperweight, that makes PERFECT sense.

I hope you run your business better than you ran the decision to buy a pump when you had one that was free. Or did you sell it in order to get your business off the ground? With unlimited time and some help from others I would have been happy to install the proper pump. That wasn't the case.

While I'm sure you are a lovely person Dave, I don't appreciate your personal attacks and hope that you grow into a wise man as some point in your future. As of now however, I'm afraid that you've joined Mr. Murle on my "ignore" list.

Dave

As for everyone else. I appreciate your support and understanding--and AM QUITE aware of the frustration you might find over this situation. Bear with me, I'll get it done.

Even though I plan to sell the 24v. I'm running p-pumps from now on. ;)

Get It Done????? Well if you want to save your time... I would suggest not doing it. The reason would be that I,myself, would not believe anything that you would post about this product. You have not been truthful at anything you have promised to do in the past.

Tell you what Wade, send it to me and I will GIT-R-DONE. I know of someone that not only could use it... . but would even do the dyno run too. Send me a PM if your interested.
