Well I finally got around to ordering my stuff.

They dont have AC delco H/cores or evap cores anymore.

I got the 4 seasons. The heater core was $101. 99, evap was $85. 79 and the one AC Delco part they had was the reciever dryer. It was $35. Shipped and all it was $251. 00. Oh yea, I got the seals too. :D That was $7. 51

The evaporator is marked made in china. #@$%! Oh well. If it lasts as long as the over priced Mopar part, I'll be happy. Heater core has no signs of origin.

I've been reading through issue 59 on this. It that it? Is this all that's done to replace this? It really dont look too bad.

I hope to get to this next week. Oh yea, I guess I should get some cap sealer tape.

I just got my evap and heater core from Rock auto... I bought 4 seasons but when the heater core arrived it was in a proliance box turns out 4 seasons quit making heater cores. . Both had made in USA on them and have a year warranty. . I am getting ready to tackle this job on Tuesday. . What is "used truck cap sealing foam tape for the sealing around the evap. " and why would I need it?? Also is there anything else I need to replace while I got it apart?? Someone said something about the AC dryer?? Also if anyone has the instructions on how to do this please send them to me... THANKS Wesley

Well sad to say only a few months after doing this job I noticed my stupid heater core is leaking again. . The carpet is soaked and get the nasty swampy coolant smell when I turn the ac or heater on... I bought a new heater core from mopar parts america, along with a new ac drier. . I will hopefully do the job in the next week or so... I called rock auto to return mine for a refund, but they wont refund only replace the part "huh yeah right like im gonna put that crap back in there... " Well they also told me to return it in the original box, but that thing is long gone so I guess I will get screwed out of that...

I hope mine lasts longer than that. I kept the original heater core since it wasnt leaking, but the box the replacement came in is long gone.
