Attention: TDR Forum Junkies 
I thought I found the right truck at united trucks and autos. Found on the net 01 dodge 1 ton,reg cab 6 speed SLT. On the phone dealer told me the windsheild was cracked and headliner had some holes in it, clear coat on hood and roof was coming off, Salesman drove it and told me it was good, no other problems. Every thing else was good. He could not send me pics though e mail or phone, he said he tryed many times. Seen three pics on auto trader. I drove almost 300 miles one way to bring this one home. He knew I was comming, The truck was so dusty/dirty I could not tell how bad the paint was. Found 3 battery cable loose, The plastic cover on the engine for the throttle was gone, Tack did not work, over head compass/mileage did not work, AC did not work. Stopped to wash the windsheild. The 4WD shifter rattled very loud at peak tourqe. The engine lobed at a idel like the old semi trucks use to and then clear up and do it again. In 3rd gear hi idel floor it and it would build up speed veerrryyyy slowly. On flat ground at 50MPH floor it nothing happened and it would take every 10 seconds would gain 1 MPH. The clutch was very hard to push in as well. No warrinty even to get me home. #@$%! He was not going to fix it either. I was so mad. I have bought a lot of equipment and trucks this way and never had a problem. But these guys were some thing else. Yes I did raise my voice, all he said was I'm sorry what more do you want. A check would be nice. he slamed the door of the truck and left me standing there) My time14 hours, fuel and toll road charges to get there. Does OK have a BBB? any other sugjestions.
