anyone having problems with there gauges? i have the 4361 fuel pressure and the 4344 pyro gauge. the problem with the pyro is i keep getting condensation building up in the gauge . the fuel pressure gauge seems to work fine until you shut truck off. the gauge reads 15 psi while key is off, when you turn key on the needle turns all the way around clockwise past the 15 to 0 when running it seems fine though. anyone else with problems?

Yesterday my boost guage started sticking on zero on the first start up. Had to hit about 15lbs to get it going. Maybe that means it is time for injectors and a bigger turbo.
 
Mine do the same thing. Must be something about the electric guages that do the around the clock thing. I have noticed condensation in my pyro,but only on occasion.

what kind of readings are you guys getting on your pyro and fuel pressure gauges

at 65mph - pyro 650-700 --- boost 3-5psi
at wfo - pyro 1000 max --- boost 18psi
(wfo=4th gear 87mph 3. 54 gears and listed tires)
fuel at idle - 10psi(cold) 13psi(warm)
fuel at 65mph - 9psi
fuel at wfo - 5psi never gotten lower

Auto Meter electric gauges do that all the time. Especially there Tachometers. It is totally normal, nothing is wrong with your gauges. I have been using and working with Auto meter gauges for 11 years and they have always done that. My EGT gauge jumps to 450 degrees after i shut the truck off.
 
I have the same problem with the pyro fogging. I talked with Autometer and they said that it is rare. My boost gauge needle vibrates above 10 psi. I checked all fittings for leaks, it looks like they will be replacing both. I have the Pro Comp Ultra Lite.

I have the Carbon Fiber Pro Comps on the way From DIS. I also have 8 Sport Comp guages in my car and have never had a problem with them at all!! I did have a tach crap out a few years ago. They replaced it very quickly. . great customer service.

The pyro. when driving will spin a circle then go to 600 and do a pretty good Elvis impersonation. Shake like a rattler. Boost is fine. Got a new pyro comming.

If your boost needle is vibrating after 10psi. it may have to do with your boost source. If you are using the plug behind the fuel filter, this has been known to cause "Pulsing" of the boost gauge due to the cylinder stealing air from the gauge line. I have mine mounted in the inlet pipe and it is rock solid.
 
EMDDIESEL, What inlet pipe, the intake manifold or the inter cooler piping, Could you explain,mine vibrates bad and would sure like to fix the problem. Thanks
 
Its the pipe (Square shape) that is bolted to the engine manifold. The pipe from the intercooler is connected to it. A better way to exolain it is the oil dipstick is bolted to it. Just go to DC and buy a replacement gasket, then take the 4 bolts out, and drill and tap a hole for the boost fitting. I drilled mine in the center facing the firewall. Should take no more then 45 minutes to do it and i have not heard of any problems with vibrating needles when getting boost pressure from this location.
 
THATS WHERE MY GAUGE IS TAPPED INTO WITH NO PROBLEMS YET.

Mine is also in the same spot, i have the auto meter pro comps. mine are also Rock Solid.

I have actually had major problems with the 0 - 1600 degree ultralight EGT gauge. Within the last month I have gone through 2 gauges and am awaiting a 3rd replacement from autometer.

My problem is this... I'll be driving down the road and at no given time the needle will just start going haywire and bouncing all over the place. It's really annoying. So Autometer said that this time around they are going to send me their newly designed gauge. Boy do I hope it works. If not. . I'm trading these pieces of junk off for either SPA or VDO... haven't decided yet.
