Propane Injection Systems

Is anyone out there running one of the propane injection systems on their truck? I am curious about the performance when compared to an injector change or box add-on.

Elken, your not going to find many Rammers with the comparative info you seek. I speak to Phillip at Bully Dog from time to time, and those people haven't developed an attitude yet. You could call them to get info on the propane system.

I expect you have read the information that I have posted regarding the Diesel Dynamic injectors and boost module. I also have the new Blue Box on my truck. I plan to go to the 4" exhaust next and then add a propane injection system.

The lp system is supposed to help burn the diesel fuel to a greater degree which should reap greater hp/torque without any appreciation of egt. Stay tuned, Lawrence has started to install a lp system on his dually. I also plan to install a Bully Dog system on my truck. The results will be made public here on your information leader, the TDR bulletin board.

Lawrence of Diesel Dynamics fame, Dyno testing expert par excellance, has got his lp system online. The results are not complete yet, although the preliminary reports are a strong thumbs up. Dyno testing will be performed to quantify the performance of the lp system on his one ton dually. Dyno testing being the best way to benchmark the performance value of a product. And who better than one who has worked for Dynojet for 10 years, is still a consultant, and designed the Diesel Dynamics dyno, to quantify the Bully Dog LP system.

I intend to add this system to my anemic turbo truck on my way to "beyond inffinity".
