when i first did the upgrade i was runnning 3rd gen wheels so i had no clearence issues not i have H2 wheeels and they firt fine with them i think the next set of wheels will be 19. 5 and i know they will fit fine with them too, they wont fit with 16" wheels and I think they made a huge inprovement my truck stops better with the 3rd gen brakes and 35" tires than it did with the stock brakes and tires

Don't know about swapping whole brake kits out for different set-ups, but I can tell you my experience with EBC yellowstuff pads on the front discs made a very noticeable improvement in my braking compared to stock (now 20k miles with them). I have drums on the rear (early 01 2500), so for a truck with the four wheel discs, I can only imagine the stopping power of four wheel EBC yellowstuff pads. Cheap and effective compared with swapping out whole brake assemblies, etc. My two cents. Godd luck.
