When you say mirrors I will assume that both left and right are inop.
The most simple cause would be the fuse. The fuse that protects the power mirrors is a 10A in position 12 in the Junction Block. You stated this has been checked. Did you swap fuses or just look at it? Sometimes those little buggers don't appear to be blown but are blown at one end of the bridge. An ohmmeter is a better check than visual - as well as a swap out with a known good fuse. However, if there is a problem in the circuit you may blow you last available good fuse requiring a trip to the store. Anyway, if the fuse checks out OK the next most likely spot is the mirror switch itself. If both sides are inop it may be contacts 5 & 6 inside the switch. Try switching back & forth a couple of times. It should feel smooth and the detent should be easily felt. The same should be felt for the up-down & left-right switches. If all 8 positions are still dead the troubleshooting starts to get a bit more tricky and a schematic and meter should be used; unless you happen to have another mirror switch handy to pop in for a test. Of course if that fixes the problem you button-up with a feeling of accomplishment;. IF not a couple of more tests are warranted.
The 10A fuse feeds battery voltage to pin 7 of the power mirror switch. Look for the PINK 22 gage wire. With a volt meter or test light you should read voltage here; a better indication the switch was bad.

Here is the pinout for the power mirror switch harness plug (truck side):

Pin 1 - YL - Left mirror motor
Pin 2 - DB/WT - Left mirror motor
Pin 3 - YL/PK - Left mirror common (both L motors shared common ground)
Pin 4 - YL/BK - Right mirror motor
Pin 5 - DB - Right mirror motor
Pin 6 - WT - Right mirror common (both R motors shared common ground)
Pin 7 - PK - Battery Voltage
Pin 8 - BK/LG - Ground

Thanks. Position 12 in fuse box is labeled I. O. D. which I have no clue what that stands for and yes I did check the fuses with digital v. o. m. I always try to eliminate the obiviouis or least the inexpensive solitions first. I even checked the fuses under the hood. Do you know how to get to the switch or remove it. I'm sure it's a simple process but if you don't know, you don't know.

IOD = Ignition-Off Draw - Basically battery power at all times. Underhood lamp, radio memory, interior lights, power mirrors, etc.

My mirrors ,,work in SOME postions ,,but not all.

Is the motor in the mirror housing or some place else?

THANKS

None of these things WORKED,,I "finally" got the darn fused pulled an it was blown,,(I thought it was under the box),,,
But I must ask,,
HOW IN THE HELL DO YOU PULL THE DARN THING out,,what with that plactic tabs all around it !! Do you push. . pull,,squezze,,I tried them all,,,

Anyone ever come up with an answer on how to remove fuse #12 that's inside the drivers side fuse box attached to a black plastic retainer. I've got the same problem, lights, radio, power mirrors not working. Hopes its this fuse but I don't want to break the plastic retainer to get the fuse out.

To open the carrier you have to pull it out about 1/4" and it wont pull out any farther. Now you take a small screwdriver, or a knife, and pry the tabs on the right side of the carrier up, and the top will open up, and you can pull the fuse out.

Thanks B.G., I ended up pulling it out with a pair of plyers and that seemed to work. I looked it up in my manual and it said to give it a firm pull. I was concerned I would break it but alls good so far. Thanks again.
