Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Qucik disconnects and fitting

Need to remove the fuel line quick disconnects to drop the tank. They dont want to budge. #@$%! The steel elbows coming out of the top of the tank are very rusted and I'm afraid of breaking them off. Can they be replaced without buying the whole in tank unit? Any suggestions for getting these suckers to let go?
