I am having long crank times on my truck and the only code i have is 0633.

I was told that is why it wont start. Is this true? I know i may have other problems with the fuel system, but need to clear this up before I go on the chase for the no start problem. Any info on this causing a long crank time?

I have not found anything.

If the Key is damaged or incorrect it will NEVER start. the Skim key will NEVER cause long crank,Unless you consider cranking until the Batteries are dead.

Cool Todd, thanks. I just wanted that cleared up. I drove it yesterday and Tuesday but i did not plug it in last night, only 50deg and this morning no start. I guess Sat I will check mor things. Can the rail pressure and return pressure be checked via scanner? I really want to know how to check, so I am not fooled into replacing parts. I really want to buy new Injectors and or a pump, but not unless I need them. I have read so much on here and am feeling like i am going in too many directions on what to do next.

I have a new FCA, the lift pump is filling the filter canister pretty quick, a new fuel filter, and need to know about torquing the crossover tubes. What tool do I need?

Ok, Talked to a "kinda" local (30mi) diesel shop about a flow test on my CR and he knew all about it. I dropped it off last nite and was called this morning with the news of #2 injector was bad. I am having them all replaced at this point. I have 148k on it and think it is best. Its gonna get cold and aint lookin forward to lifting the hood to start it no time soon.

Thank you all again for the wise info and bits of knowledge that was very helpful and educated me further in what to look for and ask about the problem i had with my CR. This is the best place to be having a Cummins.

Will let you know how it runs next week

Happy Turkey Day
