I see that several people grease the hubs but no mention if a special end for the gun is needed. Is it just a direct fit on the hole and try not to let too much escape out the sides or do you need something like a needle tip to insert the grease? I've never removed the sensors so don't know what it looks like underneath them.

I Use a rubber tip grease fitting, some have use a 1/4x28 zerk with an O ring around it, there was a thread at some point with pictures of the different options.

You dont really pressure grease into that bearing, it's more like dropping a couple shots down the hole.
There us no need for anything to aid that greasing.

You do not grease that bearing till it is full, that would be way to much.

Thanks for the report on the EBC's. Mine were noisy but have settled in nicely.

Have I mentioned I LOVE the EBC pads???

You mentioned New England and salt....I wish you well with your rotors. I have seen too many people fall for the sales pitch of better performance and it doesn't end well. The slots or holes, whichever you have will fill up solid with rust within a winter or two. Anything spent above OEM equipment is an exercise in futility.

EBC rotors are dimpled, maybe that won't be an issue.

hmm, timken has 12 month warranty, SKF has 36 month? SKF a little more money too. I have always trusted Timken But Wonder which is better now?

I'm in the process of buying some bearings and see lots of people extolling Timken and how it's made in the USA, but a quick Google search reveals:

so, at least up until 2021, they were certainly sourcing steel and probably parts & assemblies from China.

that stinks. thanks for the info. i read today G.E. appliance and volvo are also owned by china.
for as long as i live i will try to avoid china garbage. especially after what they have done to the world with their virus. no exceptions. cheers!

Volvo it's only the Cars!

Not the Trucks, not to the Construction Equipment, they are still Swedish.

Huh, I don't hear anyone from EITHER party condemning this dismantling of American businesses. It couldn't be that BOTH of the parties in our 2 party system are completely corrupt and beholden to the vulture class could it?
