2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Ram vs. F250...ouch

I got into a fender bender on Friday. My Dodge 1 ton against a Ford ¾ ton. We were both changing into the same lane at the same time. I just got off the phone with my insurance company and they said I have the gold plan with accident forgiveness. My truck has been painted white over white and the second white is whiter than the first white. The problem with that is they painted over the running boards that are now cracked. I would like to take the boards off (since I got it) but if I do I know there is going to be a difference in the two whites. But whatever happens, I can’t get it done till after my wheelin trip to Bridgeport next weekend. Can’t tow my car hauler with a rent car.

Oh well, maybe the insurance will repaint the whole truck. LOL

Bout the same damage wise. But, while I stayed planted (hit to the heavy front part of my truck) he barley maintained control (hit to the back light bedside of his truck) as he fishtailed back and fourth.

Yeah, if I would have turned into him and gassed it…no doubt he would have gone all the way around!

I have kind of always want ed to try that. I bet the Cummins would keep the front of our trucks planted so they could push just about anything around. :-laf

They are going to replace that fender blend the hood and door and replace the bumper. now you can put some sport lights in it. Is that a sport? it has regular headlights?

just got back from Service King (they do good work). said it would be well above my deductable and i should claim it. so in the shop it goes.

insurance guy said no to my idea of taking off the running boards, welding up the holes and repainting the whole truck. LOL

they said they are going to replace the headlight/turnsignal assembley, fender, bumper braces, inner and outer bumpers and get a new running board kit and replace the brokern part for sure and who knows what else once they get it appart

i dont know if it is a sport or not, how would i tell?

and for the headlight, now i will have one new and one old so i will need to clear the lense on the old one. oh well it will look better.
