I just had my 2001 2500 rustproofed, and had running boards and mudflaps installed. I had a 99 2500 V10 truck that I did the same way.
This truck, however, seems as if the mudflaps are not hanging down far enough, as the rear tires are throwing mud up the side of the bed toward the rear. I asked the people who put the flaps on and they said because of where the tailpipe exits, they were afraid to put anything longer on for fear it might get against the pipe and melt.
What are you people doing for mud flaps? I tried to search mud flaps but it tells me that mud does not have four letters and I can't do it... .
The truck sits somewhat higher because it has 255-85-16 tires, which look real good on these trucks.
Any help you can give me on this mudflap issue would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you... .
