Maybe I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed, but the mirrors on my '14 3500 don't tilt down nearly far enough. I've tried to put the truck in reverse, adjust the mirrors to where I'd like them to tilt to, but the memory function doesn't work when the truck is in gear. As soon as I go back to reverse, it is back to tilting the amount that isn't nearly enough.

Has anyone figured this out? Or noticed the similar problem?

Thanks -

Greg

I stopped using the tilt feature. I found that they tipped too low to suit all reverse applications. Sometimes you want to see more than the rear bumper.
When I adjusted them up a bit, they were too high when returned to normal driving. Too much adjusting and not perfect for both reverse and forward normal use.

Close....but no cigar Ram.

Same here, I have the feature turned off because I hate it. Now I know how I got by without it for 40+ years.

I find the tilt works great if I'm backing into a lined parking spot. That's the only time they work great. I have a long driveway off the street and I always back in. The tilt is useless then. I can't see anything but the ground. So, I have mine turned off too.

Speaking of turning things on and off. It is getting cold here now, and my steering wheel and drivers seat heat turns on at start up! This is a setting!!! WHY NO setting to Exhaust Brake and Tow Haul. Then in their logic they give you Exhaust Brake when a trailer is plugged it, but not Tow Haul??? Hello??? A trailer with trailer brakes plugged into the 7 way plug is a TRAILER that you intend to Tow!

I still hate my backup camera in the mirror!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:mad::mad:

Other than that I love the truck.

Maybe I will order a 16 so the year of the truck matches the 16 MobileSuites.

Now you're talking!! Both cameras are now in the big screen, you can toggle back and forth.

Just to temp you more......:-laf other than the increased torque......front park sense is pretty neat......More bells and whistles in the 8.4 nav unit.

Mine do exactly the opposite - they are useless backing into a lined spot because they don't tilt down far enough to see the lines.

If our trucks are different, it leads me to believe that it can be adjusted and set somehow...

I may just buy a lock-pick interface and add a front camera and a hitch camera of my front bed box. Note, to Ron! This would fix your issue also.

For the life of me, I have not yet figured out the front distance while parking. I think I am get really close and I get out and look, and I am still 18-24 inches away.

Spring/Summer NW project. You drill the holes I will run the wires!!!! SNOKING

Yep, it was kind of a shame when I sold my bumper pull trailer and got a 5th wheel. However, I can at least do the 5th wheel by myself and not have to rely on a very close, unqualified family member.

Damn, front park sense? This is why I don't buy new trucks. I get annoyed when the next model comes out. :-/ My '15 is old and deprecated.
