Reg. cab w/ stacks-muffler

Hope this is the right section for this topic, anyone running stacks and a regular cab, do you have a muffler? If so how did you do it, is there room for this set up? I am toying with the stacks idea but here in Hawaii we have a yearly safety check we gotta do and they check if you have a muffler and cat. I could "get around" it (connections, but we won't get into that here don't know who's readin this), but I would rather just stay as legal as I can. Any info would be great... ... ... .
