Relays installed. finally..

Well I finally got around to installing relays for the headlights. It's nice to know that a major load is taken off the headlight switch.



I had been procrastinating for awhile, I have had the parts for some time but when my next door neighbor's light switch and connector went up in smoke Friday I decided to install the relays.



Thanks to Tim1 for his writeup awhile back, everything went together real easy. I now have my trans fan, camper clearance lights, headlights and running board lights on relays.



I always carry a spare relay and fuses but hopefully will never need. For piece of mind do the relay thing.

I wrote the post in Discontinued parts for first gen. I used piece of plexiglass to mount the board as I call it next to the battery. Works real well. I didn't cut anything and used the headlite plug as my tap. Tim
